I'm just beginning to use this book. It appears to contain many useful phrases. My rating is just Ok for the following reasons: The Korean characters as displayed on my tablet are microscopic. You can highlight the word (in characters), and hit a zoom button, but it's tedious and hard to highlight the word - why couldn't they make the characters bigger? If you understand the sounds of the characters, they are a help in understanding the pronunciation. Also, when I first bring it up on my tablet, I have to fiddle around with it before anything will be displayed. The implementation of this as an eBook leaves much to be desired. Additional comment: I found it a bit easier to read the Korean characters in white-on-black text mode.
I am a beginner in learning the Hangul language. This book offers many useful phrases in an easy to follow way. Thank you.
This is one out of many korean phrasebooks on the moraket. It is worth to get a print-out copy rather than kindle (I have both). The accompanying CD is good to help with pronounciation.
Lacking in authentic Xhosa...uses Zulu and Xhosalized phrases...falls way short...it's like the author just cut and pasted from their other African language books...
To see and read the ultra small Hangeul on the Kindle version, you will also need a magnifying glass. Good luck!

What else can one say? What more could one want?It fits in the pocket just great and is laid out in a nice easy on the eye & easy to use format.The translations are very accurate & there is no confusion over pronunciation, say the word exactly as it is. If you read the first few pages on the plane out to the Middle East you should have a good grasp on the basics by the time you land, which is extremely useful & will prove a positive boost to the reception you receive if you try a few words of Arabic in daily use.Despite different words & dialects used in the Arabic speaking countries, this book uses works & phrases that you easily get you by in most of them.
I am moving to Korea next month and bought this book (in a store) because it came with a CD which I thought would be useful for pronounciation accuracy.I was right about the CD, however the book is somewhat lacking.Areas that could be improved:- consistency in phoneticization- more detail about how letter combinations are phoneticized to form new sounds (there seem to be some that are missing from the book's chart)- a more developed grammar section (currently only two sides of one page)It also seems that a number of words that I'd expect to exist in Korean are given as Korean transliterations. I don't know if this is a valid comment or not, but I would be surprised if a language hundreds of years old did not have its own word for "ham" other than "haem".This also brings me to the CD: a number of the words taught on the CD are these transliterations (including "ham"). Since the non-transliterated words are probably going to be harder to learn and pronounce, it seems like it would make more sense to use the CD for those instead.Overall an okay product, but I would shop around a bit for others first.
